How do the gears work?

To keep things simple Buzzbike-E only has two gears. You don’t need any more for urban cycling on an e-bike.

The gears shift automatically based on speed. As you get faster the bike will shift up into the higher cruising gear. And as you slow down it will shift down into 1st gear to help you climb hills or pull away from traffic lights.

If you find yourself feeling like you’re stuck in the higher gear working against the bike, stop pedalling for a moment and then start again very gently. The bike will re-calibrate, shifting down if it needs to or giving you more power assistance.
